Riding through Autumn
Ok, so I get that you’re probably sick of hearing me gush about Autumn but truly, I can’t help it. Everything is roasted pumpkin-maple-something-or-other scented and just stepping outside presents a dazzling array of colors. Trees are richly dressed in such vibrant foliage that would put even a highly pigmented 50-buck eyeshadow to shame. This, you don’t even have to pay for!
It makes my heart so happy to see such sunny golden yellow.
I spent my weekend with a very handsome Mr. Jack.
Jack and I are bffs now, you see
Short of an apple pie in one hand and a chai latte in the other, this day was perfect.
…and french onion soup just made it that much better.
I hope that y’all enjoyed your weekend!
I love you all!!

I shouldn’t complain because we have really mild weather during fall and winter, but the leaves here just turn… Brown. It’s such a non-event, I get super nostalgic for a full blown orange red and yellow fall. That is to say, I’m not tired if hearing about fall or seeing photos of it yet!
I figured you guys would be throwing those apples that were all rotten on the ground at this point at me bc I won’t shut up about it, lol.
Our pretty fall is all over. We are getting snow as I type this! The scent of pumpkin though is in my house, even if it’s wax…lol! I love foodie/baking scents! Mr. Jack is handsome but I must say horses scare me! I got bucked off one when I was young and a few years ago I seen one try to trample a baby goat. My friend has one that is mean too, so that should explain my fear…yikes! French onion soup is a blog that’s soon to come, I’m on a soup kick lately
Can’t get sick of autumn too beautiful a season
Hi Angie, beautiful pictures of you. You look gorgeous! Look like you’d a good time with your BFF.
I love how gung-ho you are about fall! I feel the same way.
Autumn with all its brilliant colors is my favorite of year, never tire of the scenery. Mr. Jack is wearing a beautiful coat.
wow that soup looks so good…and purdy too!
every time I’ve ever ridden a horse they take off like we’re at the races…Vroooom!
if I were only 14 inches shorter, it’d be perfect!
We don’t have autumn where I live , but it always looks very nice…everywhere else
Awwwww I dont blame for having Autumn on your mind all the time. These lovely images surely evoke that happy & cozy feeling!!!

That looks like a perfect day!
that loooks sooo good!
^.~
It was damn near close to perfect!
I feel like it’s always running away though
Where do you live? (If it’s not crazy for me asking)…I would be so sad without an Autumn
Mr. Jack is SO beautiful—I really wish I could fit him somewhere in my life :/
Great minds do think alike you know =)
Just bring you and a spoon! =)
I just wish it would stay longer—the leaves are already falling in thick blankets.
Pumpkin apparently heightens the libido? (Don’t quote me on it, lol). I’m sorry to hear this I can’t wait to see your soup recipe—as a matter of fact, I DID have your dumpling/noodles pop up randomly in my dream!! =)
Hi Angie, thanks for your sweet comment on my blog. I’m glad that I’m not the only one that loves Pinterest…as a matter of fact, I will look you up to follow!
Love your Autumn photos, and I agree; Autumn is a very special time of the year for me…I grew up in Ohio, and do miss the beautiful Autumn season, but here in S. Florida, we just enjoy the cooler temperatures at this time of the year!
los angeles and sometime the moon (sea of tranquility) =P
I’m so jealous that you can ride a horse! One day I want to learn how to ride on a horse. He’s beautiful!
Your body takes to it—I really hope you get to soon, Nami!
Pinterest is evil though–I’m sure of it! lol…
Oh poo! I was just there–I wish I’d known it before!
That soup looks wonderful right now!
Oh my belly fully appreciated it =)
Love autumn! The horse is beautiful.
Love the soup!
SO beautiful =)
We are headed into Summer here. Although you wouldn’t know it. 5 loads of washing got soaked last night. Argh! Sorry, being a Nan. Beautiful shots of your surroundings!
Apple pie, a chai latte and beautiful Mr Jack – sounds like the perfect combo to me
Sigh…and here in our country, we only have summer and rainy season.
I’m going to bring him carrots next time =)
oh gosh! I love making a mess but hate cleaning it up, lol.
I love Autumn except I wish that it didn’t have to be so cold here already! haha.. Lucky you! i should totally look into moving to Cali!!! haha.. But I gotta agree with you! Baking in the fall season is just plenty of fun!!
Though I wish there was a little more sunlight for my photography…. anyway, have a great week my dear!!
xoxo
It’s just now getting cold here, so I totally feel you!
The only silver lining about cold weather is the food, lol!
I hope you do too, Sammie! =)
Meeee too! I just came back from LA and I literally dangled my feet in the water!
ohh poo! I feel for you, Abi :/
Wow! Thank you! I always needed to write on my site something like that. Can I include a portion of your post to my blog?
Ah don’t worry I like to hear about your autumn escapades =).
We don’t have that season here and I grew up with autumn, the colored leaves and the smell of cold air. I think so I am actually missing all that. O.O
Though I want to live somewhere where it’s warm–without a Winter, I’d be so sad without an Autumn.
Beautiful post, and you can talk about Fall all you want, I will never get tired:) Beautiful pics, and you can ride a horse? How awesome!
Jack was a complete gentleman =)
Such a magical day, now I want to enjoy Fall even more. I am new to embracing this season! So far am liking it!
It truly is magical…makes you feel mischievous!
I really like your blog.. very nice colors & theme. Did you make this website yourself or did you hire someone to do it for you? Plz respond as I’m looking to create my own blog and would like to know where u got this from. thank you
I am truly enjoy fall foliage here in Los Angeles. In Florida, there’s nothing like that. It’s scorching heat all through out the year. So we are making the best of fall here in LA!!
I would love to be in either state but for the time being, I could definitely be sated with the wonderful foliage here.
I’m glad you get to enjoy part of it with me =)
I adore autumn too, it is my favorite season. Is Mr. Jack your horse? I love horses but haven’t ridden one since I was a kid. I’ve petted them in recent years, I just love that feeling of standing in the midst of such power. Gentle giants.
I wish, he lives at an old plantation. I wish I had one though.
